The Godard Brothers, Chapter 2: Hairy Potatoes Part 1

Alfred looked over the whiteboard in his study with amazement. It was all there, everything he would need to begin a successful experiment with his formula, after all these years. He jumped when Sanji snored from beside him, but his surprise turned into a smile. His two boys didn’t look like geniuses, spread out on the floor with dry erase markers in their hands, but they had accomplished something in one night that had eluded him for over ten years. He’d kept the two of them up far too late; now it was time to get them into bed. Continue reading

Time Bubble Interview with General Elymas from Beast Blades

I take the Time Bubble Interviews in a new direction this week, and interview a villain for the first time. Will I regret this decision? You’re just going to have to watch the episode and find out for yourself. If you like these videos, like the video so that I know to make more of them. If you have a character from next week’s chapter of the Godard Brothers, leave it in a comment.

Beast Blades, Chapter 12: Elymas’ Victory

A dirt stained and weary soldier made his way into Geraldo’s throne room and dropped down onto one knee in front of Geraldo. Geraldo glared at the soldier out of his eye and scowled. “I don’t recall summoning any soldiers into my presence. What do you want?”

The soldier swallowed the lump forming in his throat before replying. “I come with news from General Elymas. He believes that Aldrick is working with the rebellion. They were far more organized than any of our reports had suggested and as a result, they were able to deal us a staggering defeat. General Elymas requests more troops be sent to replace the ones that fell in the rebellion’s attack.”

Geraldo stared at the soldier wordlessly for what seemed to the soldier like minutes. Sweat beaded on his brow and flowed down his face, and he quivered when Geraldo calmly said, “Do you want to explain to me how one of my Generals, one that superior numbers means nothing to, was dealt a defeat by that sad excuse for a rebellion?” Continue reading

Beast Blades, Chapter 12: Elymas’ Victory Part 3

Elymas stood in the fringes of the forest, watching the walls of rebel camp with confusion. What is the point of making these walls if they weren’t going to set anyone to watch over them? He had been watching the wall for over an hour, and he hadn’t seen any movement from the camp in that entire time. He shook his head. Aldrick was certainly losing his touch if he wasn’t setting up a guard. No matter, it would make his victory that much easier. Once his scouts returned he would mount his attack.

A tiger Acerbi crept through the woods to Elymas’ side. “I have spoken with the other scouts and they reported no movement on the walls. It is time to attack.” Continue reading

The crack of wooden practice swords filled the clearing where Apollos sat watching the twenty recruits he was teaching how to sword fight. Apollos got off of the stump he was sitting on and started walking amongst those he was training. “No! You have to use more than just your arms when you swing! You must use your body to put force behind your swings, otherwise using a sword is pointless! Watch the way that Tara is doing it!” Tara flowed into another stance and brought her sword down in a powerful swing against her partners thigh. “I’m sure that Kenneth will tell you that she put more than just the force of her arm into that swing!” Continue reading

Weekend Review of Beast Blades for October 25th

In this edition of the Weekend Review I review what happened this past week in the Super Morpher (You can find this week’s chapter on the archives page) and what has happened so far in Beast Blades. I finish it up with a preview of what is going to happen in next week’s chapter of Beast Blades.

Time Bubble Interview with Lieutenant Jacob from Super Morpher

I asked Lieutenant Jacob from the Super Morpher to join me on this week’s Time Bubble Interview to discuss the events of what police have started calling Leforn’s longest night. I learned a lot about Lieutenant Jacob through his interview, including his first name! If you have a character from next week’s chapter of Beast Blades that you would like me to interview, leave in a comment down below. If you enjoyed this Time Bubble Interview, and want me to bring more to the blog in the future, please leave a like.

The Super Morpher, Chapter 12: Shots Fired in the Night

Jordan’s eyes opened wide in panic when he looked down at the ground that was racing up to meet him and Ryan. “What are you thinking? I’m not sure that even you can survive a fall from this height, and I certainly can’t!”

Ryan reached down to his utility belt and pulled off one of the sticky grenades. “I couldn’t see any other way for us both to get out of that room alive. Now climb onto my back!”

Jordan made his way around Ryan’s body until he was hanging onto Ryan’s back. “What is this going to accomplish?”

Ryan pushed the red button on top of the grenade and pushed it between Jordan’s chest and his back. “Hopefully, it’ll save both of our lives.” The grenade erupted in a shower gooey slime, covering Jordan. Continue reading

The Super Morpher, Chapter 12: Shots in the Night Part 3

Ryan stumbled to the front of the police station with the sun rising at his back. Somehow they had done it. The gangs that had been attacking the city were either in custody or had fled, leaving the city with only minimal damage sustained. Police cheered as Ryan approached, and the police chief approached him with a smile on his face. Ryan returned the chief’s smile. “I think that should do it for tonight.”

The police chief held out his hand and nodded his head. “I believe you are right. I wanted to thank you for all of your help, I can honestly say that I don’t think the city would still be standing if you hadn’t come to our aid. It seems to me that the police could really use a man like you to help us. How would you like to join the police force?” Continue reading
