Time Bubble Interview With John Al’Forge

This week I interviewed John from the Rebellion on Aquore and we discussed why getting the guns was so important for the rebellion, and why things turned out the way that they did for the rebels. If you have a character from the next chapter of the Super Morpher, leave it in a comment down below and like this video if you want to see more like it. I don’t think I’ll be able to get a chapter up on Monday morning, but I’m going to try for either Tuesday or Monday night, so look for part one of the next chapter of the Super Morpher. I’m sorry that this is getting up so late on Sunday, but it was a busy weekend for me and this was my first chance to get it recorded and online.

Rebellion on Aquore, Chapter 9: A Change in Plans

Tarren huddled against the side of one of the stalls in the marketplace, hiding in the shadow that it cast. He silently watched a group of Enforcer soldiers march through the marketplace. An Enforcer started to raise his hand, and Tarren’s body tensed and he prepared himself to run, but he relaxed when he saw the Enforcer use that hand to cover up a yawn. The Enforcer stopped, and leaned against one of the stalls. “I’ve been on duty for fourteen hours straight, can we just settle down and take a bit of a break?” Continue reading

Rebellion on Aquore, Chapter 9: A Change in Plans Part 3

The rebels kept running until they had made their way to Obediah’s house. John pounded on the door until a very sleepy looking Obediah answered the door. “What’s going on, John?”

John forced his way into the house past Obediah and said, “I’ll explain everything once we’re all inside.”

Obediah moved aside and allowed the rebels in, though he eyed the firearms that they carried with interest. Once the last rebel had made it down to the basement, Obediah gave John a stern look. “I believe you promised me an explanation. Why do those men have guns, John? Did something go wrong with the attack at the mining site?” Continue reading

Rebellion on Aquore, Chapter 9: A Change in Plans

Tarren watched the rebels talking softly amongst themselves in the alley below him. John had spread the word that they were changing targets, and from what Tarren could hear, they weren’t too pleased with it. Tarren had been waiting on the rooftop for the last hour, watching for any sign that Frederick was there again and waiting for him to try another sneak attack, but he had jumped out the only window on the upper floor where the office was the night before, and they had boarded that up, making it impossible to tell if there was anyone still inside or not. Continue reading

Time Bubble Interview with General Elymas from Beast Blades

I take the Time Bubble Interviews in a new direction this week, and interview a villain for the first time. Will I regret this decision? You’re just going to have to watch the episode and find out for yourself. If you like these videos, like the video so that I know to make more of them. If you have a character from next week’s chapter of the Godard Brothers, leave it in a comment.

Beast Blades, Chapter 12: Elymas’ Victory

A dirt stained and weary soldier made his way into Geraldo’s throne room and dropped down onto one knee in front of Geraldo. Geraldo glared at the soldier out of his eye and scowled. “I don’t recall summoning any soldiers into my presence. What do you want?”

The soldier swallowed the lump forming in his throat before replying. “I come with news from General Elymas. He believes that Aldrick is working with the rebellion. They were far more organized than any of our reports had suggested and as a result, they were able to deal us a staggering defeat. General Elymas requests more troops be sent to replace the ones that fell in the rebellion’s attack.”

Geraldo stared at the soldier wordlessly for what seemed to the soldier like minutes. Sweat beaded on his brow and flowed down his face, and he quivered when Geraldo calmly said, “Do you want to explain to me how one of my Generals, one that superior numbers means nothing to, was dealt a defeat by that sad excuse for a rebellion?” Continue reading

Beast Blades, Chapter 12: Elymas’ Victory Part 3

Elymas stood in the fringes of the forest, watching the walls of rebel camp with confusion. What is the point of making these walls if they weren’t going to set anyone to watch over them? He had been watching the wall for over an hour, and he hadn’t seen any movement from the camp in that entire time. He shook his head. Aldrick was certainly losing his touch if he wasn’t setting up a guard. No matter, it would make his victory that much easier. Once his scouts returned he would mount his attack.

A tiger Acerbi crept through the woods to Elymas’ side. “I have spoken with the other scouts and they reported no movement on the walls. It is time to attack.” Continue reading

Beast Blades, Chapter 12: Elymas’ Victory Part 2

The crack of wooden practice swords filled the clearing where Apollos sat watching the twenty recruits he was teaching how to sword fight. Apollos got off of the stump he was sitting on and started walking amongst those he was training. “No! You have to use more than just your arms when you swing! You must use your body to put force behind your swings, otherwise using a sword is pointless! Watch the way that Tara is doing it!” Tara flowed into another stance and brought her sword down in a powerful swing against her partners thigh. “I’m sure that Kenneth will tell you that she put more than just the force of her arm into that swing!” Continue reading
